Music from our Tube; Jean Michel Jarre on TV in 1977

For a long time electronic music seems to have been considered as being a gimmick, a fad. Back in 1976  Jean Michel Jarre, one of the pioneers, recorded “Oxygène” and the next year he was in Holland to promote it “live” on TV;


I probably didn’t see this back then, but I did buy me some Jean-Michel Jarre and Vangelis in the early eighties. Then came New Wave & Front 242 and Art Of Noise and House and Techno and now electronic music is just music. Thanks for that Jean Michel!
