Before Atoms for Peace released AMOK (but after Thom Yorke, Flea et all joined forces) there was a one-off album by Rocket Juice and the Moon, a group around Damon Albarn (Blur), Flea and the great Tony Allen (Fela Kuti’s drummer/ percussionist and producer). And below’s Follow-Fashion for example, sounds like the nonidentical twin of Atom for Peace’s Before your very Eyes, doesn’t it?

Thom Yorke playing new Radiohead songs in Paris
Thom Yorke played a solo-gig (well, Flea joined, so not entirely solo, but still) in the context of the climate-conference in Paris. He didn’t play the could-have-been Spectre title-song, but instead 3 other new songs were on the playlist, along with older material from both Radiohead and Atoms for Peace;

Music from Our Tube; FinleyKnight – Madhatter
I heard FinleyKnight (no space, apparently) a couple of times on KCRW, albeit not in this live version. Their “Madhatter” has a distinct Atoms for Peace (and Radiohead) feel to it, which might have something to do with the fact that the producer was Atoms for Peace’s Joey Waronker.
